Transforming India's Government Fleet: CESL's Ambitious "EV as a Service" Program to Promote E-Mobility
November 13, 2024
India's journey toward sustainable mobility takes a major leap with CESL's "EV as a Service" program, launched by Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal. Aimed at deploying 5,000 electric cars across government fleets in the next two years, this initiative promotes e-mobility, reducing emissions and strengthening energy security. Through a flexible model, CESL enables government offices to choose EVs suited to their needs, setting an example for clean transportation. The program, complemented by the PM E-DRIVE Scheme, marks a significant stride in India’s path to achieving net-zero emissions by 2070.
