ToggleJaaneba reported that the company is currently considering three models, including ELROQ, Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe. All these cars are made on the Meb platform. Which of these cars will be launched first in India, it will be decided on the basis of the new EV policy of the Government of India by March 2025. It is expected that the government can give more benefits for electric cars built in the already existing automobile plants in the country.
This electric SUV is built on the ‘modern solid’ design and is based on the Voxwagen Group’s Meb Platform. Its length is 4.49 meters and comes with three battery options. Which contains options for 52kwh, 59kwh and 77kwh.
It will get a 170bhp rear-mounted motor with 52kwh battery, which will provide a range of 370km (WLTP). The variants coming with 59kwh and 77kwh battery packs will give range of up to 385km and 560km respectively. The top variant is capable of catching a speed of 0 to 100kmph in just 6.6 seconds and its top speed will be 180kmph.
It has come with a facelift update in the electric SUV and Coupe SUV Global Market. The Eniq SUV has a 77kwh battery pack, capable of giving a range of up to 562km. The facelift Eniq Coupe will get a range of up to 597km, which is higher than before. Small battery variants (59kwh) will get a range of up to 431km (SUV) and 439km (coupe SUV). Now it has to be seen which of these Skoda launchs the first EV in India.
